Time Keeping

Morning

• School begins for everyone at 08:40. Classes start at 9.00. Please make sure your child on time.
• Any pupil arriving after the start of class time is considered to be late for school and is missing the most important time of the day.
• The late arrival of a pupil disrupts the work of the class.
• In the event of a delay, please call the school and the teacher will be informed.
• Roll call is at 9.40. After that time, pupils are marked absent.

Home Time

Junior and Senior Infants must be collected at 13:20. First and Second Class children must be collected at 14:20. Please be on time to collect your child. Pupils get anxious and upset if they see all their classmates going home and nobody turns up to collect them. If you are delayed, just ring the office and we will explain the situation to your child.

As children get older, some parents who live near the school may want them to walk home alone. You need to sign a permission form, available in the office, and your child will be allowed leave the school unaccompanied at dismissal time.
